Summit Medical Group welcomes Renée Schreiber Chervenak, MD, in Internal Medicine and Occupational Health. Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Chervenak was Regional Medical Director for Alcatel-Lucent USA in Murray Hill, New Jersey. She also has been Regional Medical Director for Lucent Technologies, Inc, of North America, and Location Medical Director for AT&T Bell Laboratories, also in Murray Hill. Dr. Chervenak has extensive experience leading corporate health care systems in comprehensive medical services such as wellness, urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and health and safety programs. Her professional interests include preventive care, occupational health, and developing relationships between patients and physicians.

Dr. Chervenak earned her BA summa cum laude at Boston University College of Engineering and her MD at Boston University School of Medicine, both in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Preventive Medicine, with a specialty in occupational medicine, and a former diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

To her credit, Dr. Chervenak is a volunteer for the Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center and a volunteer certified therapeutic riding instructor at Therapeutic Riding at Centenary, where she helps improve quality of life and build self-esteem in people with physical, developmental, emotional, and medical challenges.
